DAY 1: En route to the canyons… 100km

Morning: Departure from Meyrueis for Dargilan and the visit of the Pink Cave, three stars classified site.
Afternoon:Departure for the Causse Méjean midmountain to Ste-Enimie. From there, the road enters the Tarn river canyon (possibility to descent downriver by boat). Return through the Jonte river canyon.

DAY 2: Through the Cévennes National Park… 200km

Full day: Departure for the Causse Méjean midmountain to Ste-Enimie. From there, the road enters the Tarn river canyon (possibility to descent downriver by boat). Return through the Jonte river canyon.

DAY 3: A day in the Gard… 200km

Full day : Departure from Meyrueis for Trêves, St-Jean-du-Bruel, Alzon, the Navacelles circus, Le Vigan, Ganges, St-Hippolyte-du-Fort (silk museum visit).

DAY 4: Heading for the Aigoual mountain… 50km

Half-day: Departure for the forest of Foux, Bramabiau (visit of the underground river), Mount Aigoual with the visit of the meteorological station. Return through Cabriac, the Perjuret pass, Meyrueis.

DAY 5: Following the Dourbie, a visit in Aveyron… 180km

Full day : Departure heading for Veyreau, la Roque Ste-Marguerite, the Dourbie river valley, Nant, la Couvertoirade (visit) – St-Rome-de-Cernon – Roquefort (visit of the caves) – Millau and its famous viaduct, Longuiers, Meyrueis.

DAY 6: In the heart of the Causses midmountains… 100km

Morning : Crossing the Causse Noir and visit of Montpellier le Vieux by small train (or by foot for the dynamic ones)
Afternoon: Departure for the Aven Armand cave (visit of an underground wonder) – Hyelzas (visit of a yesteryear’s farm) – optional extension to the Roc des Hourtous panorama – Crossing the Causse Méjean midmountain and et return through the Perjuret pass.
